Hanmade serves two types of cakes. Our signature cakes have varying bases, from cheesecake to chiffon. Second, Sansrival, one of our unique and bestseller cakes.
Sansrival is a Pampangan (Filipino Province) dessert cake made of layers of buttercream, meringue and chopped cashews. Its name means "unrivalled" in French. The cake may be decorated, left plain or garnished with cashews. This recipe has its roots in the dacquoise. A similar, smaller version of this recipe is called a silvana.
